county), Idaho.Eldon enlisted in the Army at Fort Douglas, UT on 16
March 1942.
On 6 August 1943, Pvt Young was transferred from the
Parachute School to Company F, 508th PIR.
He was subsequently
transferred to Replacement Station 970 on 29 August 1943.
