He was credited with 8
months of domestic duty and 14 months of foreign service and was awarded
a $290 bonus payment.

Floyd enlisted in the Army at New Cumberland, PA on 20 May 1944.
Pfc Yount was transferred from the 17th Airborne Division to Hq 2nd,
508th PIR on 21 August 1945.
