Grave marker for Robert J. Zeppuhar and spouse in the Forest Hill Section 1 of Mount Royal Cemetery, Glenshaw (Allegheny county), Pennsylvania.
 

Robert enlisted in the Army at Pittsburgh, PA on 3 July 1944. He shipped overseas on 31 January 1945 and was assigned to the 513 Parachute Infantry Regiment [note the parachutist badge engraved on his headstone]. He was later transferred to Co I, 508th PIR.

Robert was discharged as a SSgt on 18 December 1946.

  On 31 January 1951 Robert applied for the Pennsylvania WWII  Veterans Bonus and was awarded $265 for his 20 months of service.
