WILBUR E. ZIPP
Wilbur Eugene Zipp, 85, Overland Park, KS passed away Friday, May 28, 2011 at the Overland Park Regional Med. Ctr.
   He was born April 20, 1926 in Eudora, KS to Robert and Emma Louise (Steffen) Zipp. He was a graduate of Shawnee Mission Rural High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army Paratroopers during WWII.
   On April 2, 1948, Wilbur married Virginia L. Geysels in Shawnee, KS. Wilbur was an office manager at CIT Credit Corp. and sales manager at Bud Brown Chrysler/Plymouth retiring at the age of 80.
   He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Lee Zipp; daughter Debbie Zipp; son, Cary Lynn Zipp; three sisters, Mildred Zipp, Virginia Rose Zipp and Patty Toozer; two brothers, Norman Zipp and George Zipp; and seven grandchildren, Trevor, Cali, Ashley, Charles, twins Devin and Wyatt, and Ethan.
   Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee; entombment in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 pm Tuesday at the chapel.
