AARON B. ZWEIG

Wounded
The Jewish National Welfare Board recorded the fact that Aaron had been wounded in action

Grave marker for Aaron B. Zweig in Section V Site 3167 of the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno (San Mateo), California.

Cpl Zweig was wounded in action on 24 December 1944 in Belgium and was evacuated to a field hospital.  He did not return to the regiment.

His military decorations include the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal and Bronze Service Arrowhead device awarded for the Holland campaign and Airborne operations.
