Bill Goudy, Headquarters Company 1st
Battalion drew up the handwritten list seen at left. Undated,
it was simply titled "Second Section" and probably documented part
of the mortar squad. Based on dates of wounds recorded for
these men, it may have
been written as late as during the Ardennes campaign.
Surprisingly, all but
one of them appear to have survived the war.
