Fewer Than 50 men of Company A, Third Platoon are pictured after their return from the Normandy action. Many were identified on the back by Rex Combs, although the number of entries may be inaccurate and he seems to have labeled two rows as a combined "middle row". Company A, Third Platoon, including replacements this second photo, probably taken the same day, is supposedly the company reconstituted by replacement personnel yet the headcount is almost identical. Unfortunately no names were included.
