TRAGIC ACCIDENT AT WOLLATON PARK

CHILDREN'S DEADLY FIND
Explosion Kills 7-Year-Old

   Three young children in the vicinity of the lake at Wollaton Park, Nottingham, came cross a strange missile.  One of the trio picked it up.  The missile exploded, and Allen Kirk, 7, of 134 Manton-crescent, Lenton Abbey, received injuries from which he died on the way to the hospital..
   Two other boys were injured and were taken to hospital.  They are Donald Kirk, 5, brother of the deceased, and David Allen, 6, of 22, Arden-close, Lenton Abbey.  The former received injuries to his face and the latter to face and fingers.
