"Where The Hell Is My Helmet?"
Lt. Rex Combs wrote on the back of this photo taken in Focarville, France,  He lost his helmet with Lt's bar the first day in Focarville and appears here without it.  Second man is unidentified as are the two bodies they are inspecting.

"Yes, There Was Plenty of Mud"
wrote Bill Blithe.  Also, "[l-r] Me, Welch, Velanss, Notoli
   The Velanss name is unknown to us but William M. Welch and Richard R. Natoli [note spelling difference] as well as William L Blithe were all in Hq Hq
