Welcome to Germany

Care Packages
   Following the parachutists came a  swarm of some 450 gliders which landed in zones that had been cleared by the 505th PIR and 508th PIR.
  Then 20 minutes later, a flight of 135 B-24 bombers dropped resupply canisters on the drop -zone.  The drop pattern was reported to be good with recovery estimated to at 80 percent.
