[Jumpmaster note: All of these six men were assigned
to Company I and only Westbrook made the cut. The other five were
transferred to the 78th Infantry Division at Camp Butner, NC. The 78th ID was
at time designated as a replacement pool division so these men were
probably re-assigned elsewhere thereafter]
Wesley F. Lobner, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lobner, 533 Messer street,
is now a member of Uncle Sam's parachute infantry. After enlisting
in Wausau, Lobner went to Milwaukee and was then assigned to Co.
F, 508th Parachute Infantry, Camp Blanding, FL, his present address.

Private Wenton D., Hutchinson of Wheelersburg has been assigned
to the 508th parachute regiment at Camp Blanding, Fla., after completion
of his basic training at Ft Thomas, Ky.

But ... on 19 Nov 1943 Pvt Hutchinson was transferred to the 78th
Infantry Division at Camp Butner, NC. and now you know the rest of

B. McAndrew is passing a fourteen-day leave at the home of his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Edward McAndrew. He has recently enlisted in the Army
and has been assigned to the 508th Parachute Troop, Infantry.
