508TH IN VIETNAM

CAMP RED BALL 10 - PFC Larry Bennett, Lake Jackson, Is presently serving with the 1/508th Infantry, 3rd Bde, 82nd Abn Dlv as a rifleman In "B" Company. The "All American" entered the Army last June 17. He completed Basic Combat Training Aug. 20 at Ft. Bliss, and arrived In the Republic of Vietnam Dec. 2. The 18-year-old paratrooper is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Bennett, 214 Polnsetta St., Lake Jackson, He Is a 1008 graduate of Brazosport High School.

Serving in Vietnam

   CAMP RED BALL (IO) ---PFC Robert Allen, Fairbank, is presently serving In the Republic of Vietnam as a member of the 1-508th Inf., 3rd Bde., 82nd Abn. Div. He entered the service in September 1968 and received his basic combat training at Ft Polk, La. He arrived In the RVN in February of this year. The 20 year old PFC is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest: Allen, Fairbank. He is a 1968 graduate of Wapsie Valley High School.

Kentucky Man Takes Command

   Capt. Tommy R. Mueller, right, assumes command of Co. E l-508th Infantry, Third Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division, Firebase Hardcore, in Vietnam. Lt. Col. Roswell E. Round Jr., hands over the command. Captain Mueller is the son of Mrs. Gordon L. K. Mueller, Ft. Thomas, Ky. His wife, Mrs. Patricia Stahl Mueller, lives at 3585 Cornell Rd., Sharonville.

Pfc. Russell Moist
Serving In Vietnam

   CAMP RODRIGUEZ, RVN — Pfc. Russel Bruce Moist, Alexandria,, is presently serving with the 1st Battalion -508th Infantry, 3rd Bde,, 82nd Abn Div as a grenadier.
    He entered the Army January 11, completed basic training March 19, at Fort Lenard Wood, Mo., and arrived in the Republic of Vietnam, June 12.
   Pfc. Moist Is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A luln Nosh Moist, Alexandria. He graduated from Tyrone Area High School, in 1966.
   The 19-year-old trooper's awards Include the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Combat Infantryman's Badge.
