The following named Officers and Enlisted men are relieved from assignment to the 508th Parachute Infantry regiment and attached unassigned to the
19th Reinforcement Depot, APO 176, U.S. Army, at Etampes, France (through
the
3rd Reinforcement Depot, APO 872, U.S. Army, at Marburg, Germany) and will
proceed thereto by Government Motor Transportation, reporting upon arrival
to
the Commanding Officer thereof for processing and transportation to the Zone
of Interior, under the provisions of Letter, Headquarters, Communications
Zone, U. S. Forces, European Theatre, file: AG 370.5 MPM-GA, subject:
"Procedure for Return of Individuals to the U. S. by Water", dated 3
July 1945, for
reassignment. EDCMR: 3 August 1945. Correspondents and
publishers will be
notified to discontinue mailing letters and publications until they receive
notification of new address. V-Mail notice to correspondents and
publishers,
WD ACO Form No. 971-1, 5 October 1943, may be used for the above purpose.
Information concerning War Department, Army or personal activities of a
military
nature within this theater will not be discussed by means of newspapers,
magazines, books, lectures or radio, or any other method, without prior
clearance
through the War Department Bureau of Public Relations or the appropriate
Public
