On September 7, 2013, a
monument was dedicated at Rencheux, Belgium remembering The Battle of
The Bulge events on December 23, 1944.
Amongst those units
honored are the 508th PIR, 1st Battalion, A and B company

bearing a stencil denoting either 1st Battalion or Company "I"
awaits the unveiling of the draped memorial in the background |
New Memorial
is flanked by flagpoles and incorporates a large slab of local stone
with a pair of dedication plaques
