ROLLING TRIBUTE TO
RUDOLPH J. PIERICH |
Mike Pierich of Harrisburg,
PA recently completed a makeover of his 1992 Harley Sportster motorcycle.
The "patch" sticker was done by an artist friend, and another friend did
the pin striping. It's meant as a tribute to his father, Pfc. Rudolph J.
Pierich who jumped over Normandy and was wounded, and who made his "final
jump" on July 8, 2004. |
The Sportster
basks in the sun and a hint of the tribute can be seen on the lower
flare of the front fender. |
Homing In
on the engine's perch begins to show off the tribute even more.
The engine is a V2, 1200 CC putting out 49 HP. |

Mike says," If there is sufficient interest in the stickers,
I can get any size printed up (the several I have are 4-1/2" and 3",
(I
believe) and would cost about $6 apiece. I probably would need an order of
15 or 20 to break even." Interested parties can e-mail Mike at
