Inquiry regarding Sgt ROLAND 'ROCKY* W. FECTEAU. “B” Company KIA September i944

TIM ROOP, who runs the website www.Wwed.com wishes to find anyone who can shed more light on the life of ROLAND W. FECTEAU. Apparently, TIM struck up a conversation in a grocery store with a cousin of Sgt FECTEAU, who remembered ROLAND was from Massachusetts, jumped into Normandy, and served in Holland after the jump on 17-September 1944.

The cousins of Sgt FECTEAU are interested in learning about ROLAND'S service with the 508, especially that which transpired in Normandy and Holland. Anyone who has knowledge of this paratrooper's service in the 508 can either contact the editor of this column or contact TIM ROOP directly: TIM ROOP, P. O.B 2602, Ocean City, MD 21643, troopsabn@aol.com

Thank You

I want to thank those readers who contacted me regarding the 508 column from the November 2005 issue of STATIC LINE concerning the issue of torture. Opinions were expressed both supportive and in opposition to what I wrote, and I want to thank those men who contacted me regarding the column.
