Pfc Merlin Anderson was wounded during the
Battle of The Bulge during either December 1944 or early January 1945.
His wounds we grave and he was
evacuated to a hospital in England. Unfortunately he succumbed to
his injuries on Jan 19, 1945.
He now lies in the family
plot in
the Zion Lutheran Church
Cemetery, in Blair, Wisconsin. |
