Record of Burial The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has this record on file which shows
Sylvester's name just as "S. J. Baysinger" and a nickname of "Bud".
It also details that Bud was in Hq1st but doesn't record the burial
details which may not yet have been available even though the record is
dated in March 1947. Transitions to the new permanent cemetery
went on at least into 1948.

Tec/5 Baysinger was killed in action on June 6, 1944 and was awarded the Purple Heart.
