Application for Headstone or Marker and resulting grave marker for Pvt Edward R. Beckwith in the Lakeside Cemetery, Waupaca, Wisconsin.

Pvt Beckwith was captured on 6 June 1944 and held as a POW in Stalag 4B Muhlberg Sachsen 51-13.  He later died on 26 Oct 1944 in a POW Camp, in Gresseth, Czechoslovakia.  He was awarded the Purple Heart.
