Jewish Welfare Board record for the death of Pvt Charles H. Hacker in Holland on 30 September 1944.

Charles enlisted in the Army at New York City, NY on 30 November 1942.

After completion of basic training and jump school, Pvt Hacker was shipped to England.  On 10 August 1944 he was transferred from the 11th replacement Depot to Company "I", 508th PIR.

Pvt Hacker participated in the Jump into Holland on 17 September 1944 and was killed in action on Fox Hill 30 September.

His body was interred in the Molenhoek temporary cemetery in Plot B, Row 7, Grave 121.

Although it is known that his remains were repatriated and laid to rest in his home state of New York, the final resting place has yet to be located.
