STATE GI KILLED
   FRANKFURT. Germany ---(AP) --- The Frankfurt provost marshal said yesterday that Pvt. Richard C. Hanold, Belleville, Dane county, Wis., was killed Aug. 11 when he was struck by a street car near the city. Hanold was attached to the 508th parachute infantry regiment.

Pvt. Hanold Killed in Reich Mishap

   BELLEVILLE Pvt. Richard C. Hanold, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hanold, Belleville, was killed in a streetcar accident in Frankfort, Germany, Sunday, his parents were notified by the war department today. No details of the death were given.
   Pvt. Hanold enlisted in the army immediately after his graduation from high school in June, 1944, and served as a paratrooper in the South Pacific.
   He reenlisted for three years last November and left for Germany slightly over a month ago. He was a member of the Swiss Evangelical Reform church here.
   Surviving besides the parents are a sister, Anna Lou. Madison, and a brother, Donald, Belleville. The war department notified the parents that the body would be set home for burial.

Richard Hanold Rites

   BELLEVILLE Funeral services services for Pfc. Richard C. Hanold, 20, who was killed in a traffic accident at Frankfort, Germany, Aug. 11, will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Evangelical and First Reformed Church here.
   The American Legion will conduct the military rites. Burial will be in the Belleville cemetery, the Rev. Harvey Norenberg officiating.
   Prayer services will be Monday at 8 p. m. at the Becker funeral Home. The body, which was to arrive here tonight, will remain at the funeral home until Tuesday, and will lie in state at the church from 11 a. m. until 2 p. m. Tuesday.
   Survivors include the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hanold; a brother, Donald, Belleville, and a sister, Anna Lou, Belleville.

   R. F. Deininger has learned of the death of his nephew, Pvt. Richard C. Hanold, in an accident near Frankfurt Germany, Aug 11.  Pvt Hanold, the son of Lawrence and Florence Deininger Hanold, Bellville, was a member of the 508th parachute infantry regiment and was chosen to represent that unit as a member of the honor guard at the time that the body of the late President Roosevelt  lay in state in Atlanta, Ga., and he was in training at Ft. Benning.

  Attending funeral services for 20-year-old Richard C. Hanold, killed in Frankfurt, Germany, on Aug 11, were his uncle R. F. Deininger, and Aunt Mollie Becker, and cousins, August and Louis Lehnherr, Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Nyman and Mrs. Ralph Bridge.  Services were held in the Swiss Reformed Church at Belleville with burial in the Belleville Cemetery.
