Headstone Inscription and Interment Record and grave marker for Pvt Frank E. Mackey at Plot C Row 13 Grave 5 in the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, France

Pvt Mackey died of wounds suffered in action on June 7, 1944 and was awarded the Purple Heart

Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus application filed by Pvt Mackey's widow, Loretta M. Mackey. in 1950.  She received $500, the maximum payment allowed.

Also shown on page 2 is the name John Joseph Mackey, born in 1942, and that Loretta remarried in 1948.
