WASHINGTON N C -Funeral services for Sgt Paul M. Nance, Jr., 23, who was killed in action in Vietnam on May 1 will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm at Paul Funeral Home by the Rev. Kelly Wilson and Chaplain Martin. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Surviving are his parents
Mr. and Mrs. Paul M, Nance, his wife Mrs. Gail Moyer Nance of Harrisburg Pa. and his paternal grandmother
Mrs. L E Nance of Graham. He was a graduate of Washington High School and attended North Carolina Wesleyan College.

He had already served one
tour in Vietnam and then volunteered to go back. While between tours, he
married six weeks prior to deploying.
He arrived in Vietnam on 2
February 1968 and was killed in action less than three months
later on May 1st by
small arms fire in Thua Thien, South Vietnam,
His name is listed on
Panel 53E, Line 038 of the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington D.C.
He
