Juan enlisted in the \Army on 20 September
1967
Cpl Quinones was deployed to Vietnam on
16 May1968 and assigned to Company C, 508th PIR.
Three months later he was killed in
action on 25 August 1968.
On 29 June Cpl Quinones was posthumously awarded
the New York Conspicuous Service Cross.
