Pfc Anthony Rezza, Jr. to be erected in the Beverley Farms Cemetery,
Beverly, Massachusetts.
Anthony enlisted in Boston
MA on 3 March 1943 and following jump school was sent to the 82nd
Airborne Division Replacement Depot in Leicester England. He
was transferred to Hq 2nd Bn, 508th on 5 October 1944.
On 4 January 1945 Pfc Rezza was
reported as Missing In Action as of 24 December 1944. It was
not until 19 May 1945 that he was declared as Killed In Action.
Pfc Rezza was
awarded the Purple Heart posthumously as well as the CIB for the Ardennes Campaign, 18 December 1944
to 26 January 1945.
