Grave marker application Michael Schena to be erected in St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich (New London county), Connecticut

Michael enlisted in the Army at Hartford, CT on 12 April 1943 and later was assigned to company H, 508th PIR.

Pvt Schena was killed in action on 21 September 1944 ner Beek, Holland while acting as a scout.  .He was initially interred on 25 September 1944 in Molenhoek Cemetery in Plot A, Row 6, Grave 113.
