Pfc. Harry W. Schmeltzer, U.S.A., Co. D, 508th Paratroop Infantry,
82nd Airborne Division, killed in action in Normandy, June 10, 1944,
beloved son of August and Anna, fond brother of Ann Hauptmann, August
Jr., and Frieda.
Remains at chapel, 7032 Wentworth avenue, from 5 p.m.,
Friday, until noon Saturday. Services Saturday, at 2 p.m., at Zion
Lutheran church, 99th and Winston avenue. Interment Mount Greenwood.
