PVT EUGENE W. SEGER

Entry on Tablets of the Missing in Margraten American Cemetery, Holland

Eugene enlisted in the Army at Pittsburgh, PA on 17 March 1943.

It is uncertain as to when he was transferred into the 508th but the 2 October Company B Morning Report  listed Pvt Seger as missing in action as of 19 September 1944.  His remains have yet to be found.

In 1946 Eugene's mother, Annetta Seger Baehr was named as the administrator of her son's estate (see bottom line)

On 27 April 1950  Annetta applied for the Pennsylvania WWII Veterans Bonus that was due to her as next of kin.

Note that the last line of page 1 incorrectly states that Eugene died in the Battle of the Bulge.
