Grave marker for Sgt Stanley E. Stevens in the Pioneer
Block 2 Lot 4 Grave 7 of the Modesto Citizens Cemetery, Modesto
(Stanislaus County), California. Sgt Stevens,
Company G, was killed in action on 20 September 1944 and was awarded the
Silver Star as well as the Purple Heart and Combat Infantryman Badge,
all posthumously.
