Grave markers for Pvt Charles S. Teller in Section 1 of the Woodlawn Park North Cemetery and Mausoleum, Miami (Miami-Dade), Florida.

Pvt Teller enlisted in the Army at Camp Blanding, Florida on 14 October 1942 and was probably recruited quickly for the 508th as it was being activated at the same time.  He was assigned to the Headquarters Company, First Battalion.

Unfortunately he was Killed In Action on 6 June 44 in Normandy, France.

Note that his marker indicates his death occurred on 6 June 1944 although Hq 1st Morning Reports indicated it was a day later.
