member of Co D, was killed in a mortar attack on night ambush position.
His military decorations
include the Star Medal (Merit), the Purple Heart and the Army
Commendation Medal.
[Note: His grave
marker mistakenly lists his unit as "D Company, 509th" rather than
508th. The 509th was never in Vietnam.] |
