It is not known why his name is listed at Cambridge when it would be more appropriate to have been shown on similar tablets in the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial in France since that is the campaign he went missing in.

Pvt Zwyers is listed as Missing In Action on June 7, 1945 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal as well as the Purple Heart.
