Daniel, age 20, killed in action April 6, 2005 in Ghazni,
Afghanistan,
beloved son of Shmuel and Rebecca Birkan, devoted brother of Adam
Birkan, loving grandson of Gerd and the late Edith Buchheim and Judy
and the late Ruby Birkan and other loving family members. Services
Weil Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd., Wednesday, April 20 at 12 Noon.
No visitation before the funeral service. Shiva will be observed at
the families' residence. Memorial contributions to Daniel Jason
