Joseph registered for the draft in West Roxbury, MA on 16
October 1940 and was inducted into the Army at Boston, MA on 20 February
1941.
A parachutist volunteer, he was transferred to Service
Company, 508th PIR.
On 18 August 1945T/4 Hynes was transferred in grade to
the 513th PIR. |
