On the table in the chapel foyer may be found Testaments and
literature. All free of charge. Take what you
desire. |

Somebody somewhere would like very much to receive a letter
from you. Why not write that letter today? |

The chapel is open every day and evening. You will be
a happier and better soldier if, frequently, you will come
in for meditation and prayer. |

GENERAL
SERVICE NOVEMBER 15 1942
508 PARACHUTE INFANTRY
Camp Blanding, Florida
|
GENERAL
ORDERS:
"The Commander-In-Chief directs that divine service be
performed every Sunday at eleven O'clock in each brigade which has a
Chaplain. Those Brigades which have none will attend the the
place of worship nearest to them. It is expected that the
Officers of all ranks will, by their attendance, set an example to
their men. While we are duly performing the duty of good
soldiers we certainly ought not to be inattentive to the highest
duties of religion. To the distinguished characteristics of a
patriot it should be our highest glory to add the more distinguished
characteristics of a Christian."
