The sketch of the cart, horse and man was
made on our camp grounds. Because we had no sewerage the waste from our
latrines was collected each day and hauled away.
I remember the charisma of the man who
tended this chore. He was quiet, very courteous, knowledgeable and
efficient. He was neatly dressed, and always wore a neck tie as [he] was a
gentle man.
He was an example that it is NOT the job
that adds dignity to the man … it is the MAN who adds dignity to the job. --30-- |
