North Canton, Ohio.
Paul's
wife worked at the Hoover plant with Zane's father Raymond Schlemmer. Paul
was killed in action on Hill 131 the same day Zane was wounded. Zane
witnessed Paul being killed and wondered how he was going to tell Paul's wife.
