HQ COMPANY, 2nd  BATTALION - CAMP MACKALL, 1943 (or other location as noted)
Pvt P. R. Edmondson Pvt Charles H. Ellis Charles H. Ellis was wounded in the Holland jump and landed in the William Beaumont Hospital at Fort Bliss, Texas.
   While convalescing, Ellis (center in photo) joined others as Mr.. Andy Anderson entertained with fishing stories and demonstrations of fishing gear.
   The visit proved therapeutic for bedridden Pvt Robert Minnisch, shown here raised on his elbow in his hospital bed.  According to the article, it was the first time that he had raised himself from a prone position.
