"Deja View" From The Hall over the expanse that once housed the 508th in a city of tents. The regiment trained here from March until early June 1944 and went into combat on D-Day. The 508th returned to these grounds in July for R&R and remained until September when they left for Operation Market Garden. It was the last time that the 508th was assigned to this location but the men have returned time and again for nostalgic visits with familiar places and old friends.
