TUESDAY JUNE 8, 2004
NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND - WOLLATON PARK

Great Hall
is acoustically sound and has been the site of concerts in the past.

Great Clock
this timepiece must be quite large to appear appropriate on this large wall area

Gun Collector's Dream
is fanned out across this wall.  Most of the men were envious of the display

The Red Room
today houses displays of stuffed animals

The Green Room
seems to be a comfortable place to curl up with a good book

Ceiling Mural
is a fine work of art.  This is but one of the hall's ceilings that are decorated with art

Francis Willoughby
[1635-1672] once owned Wollaton Hall. He was a naturalist and his influence is still felt throughout the building an its displays

I "Herd" Him Speak
This American bison seems to have strayed quite a way from home but conveys an important  message to visiting schoolchildren
