Hotel Cositel
on the
Rte de Coutainville in Coutances provided very comfortable accommodations for the group to rest before hitting the road again each morning.

Coutances Cathedral
sat atop a hill across town and presented a lovely view.  Its construction was begun ca. 1180, a wee bit before our time and will undoubtedly outlast us as well.
