Hôtel De Ville
was the site of a joyous welcome as we began our stay in Ste. Mere Elise

Not A Hotel
despite what the sign seems to say in English, it actually translates to "city hall".

Full House
The courtyard and street were jammed with participants and spectators alike

Official Welcome
by the city's mayor
began the ceremonies

Front Row Seats
were rightfully reserved for the veterans

French Veterans
were on hand as well

No Red Cross Girls
were on hand but these young ladies from the local Airborne Museum did a fine job with refreshments
