for the helos were in a nearby farm field. making an unusual combination of old and new

Reminiscent
of the D-Day invasion, the choppers in this rural scene takes one back to the day when gliders were strewn about Normandy fields such as this one
Near The La Fiere Bridge is a small and simple memorial that reads:
"To Pass On The Memory
To Remind That Today
We Live-In Peace
Freedom And Dignity
Because Others
Gave Their Life For Us"
