GROESBEEK, HOLLAND - DE MALLEMOLEN

Group Spokesperson Lt/Gen John Norton, 505th PIR, surprised everyone with his bravado as he led the audience in singing the Airborne Hymn.  He had already proven his bravery on the battleground but it really stood out here on the stage.

Singer Theo Diepenbroch recounted how as a 12-year old  he witnessed paratroopers landing in Operation Market Garden. One man asked him for water and he was given a stick of Wrigley gum in return.  Unacquainted with the treat at the time Theo was unsure of what to do with it.

"Homage to All Veterans" Theo's CD dedicated to men of all nations

Title List contains 12 of his songs.

Choir Group mesmerized the audience as they performed a variety of songs

(The CD images are shown here with Mr. Diepenbroch's  kind permission)
