Lunch was served at the terrace of Fort  St. Peter in Maastriecht, an area famous for caves

A helpful man points the way to a veteran while others wait for the restaurant doors to open

Old Fort Wall
Dating back to the 15th or 16th century, the fort wall has been incorporated into the dining area

Candles and Crannies
Candles are carefully tucked into many little pockets on the wall offering a subdued glow

Chatter
While waiting for the main course, conversation abounded after having attended the Margraten ceremonies

Going
George Miles, Hq 1st, seems to have a contented and full look as he leaves the restaurant
