HENRY G. COCHRAN (4)

The Felony Convict Record, state Board of Corrections,, Atlanta, Georgia recorded Henry as Convict #39906, with Crime; Murder, Convicted: Fulton County, date incarcerated: 6 March 1958 which is approximately one month after he was given a reprieve.  As such, his sentence was entered as "Death, Commuted to Life".

Surprisingly, he was paroled on 17 April 1970

Also surprising is that he was able to leave the state of Georgia and live in Texas.

Henry died in Houston on 8 April 1999 and was buried in Plot M2, Site 170 Houston National Cemetery, Houston (Harris county), Texas/

There is no explanation as to why his middle name was engraved as "Graddy" as it does not appear with that spelling in any documents found thus far.
