B COMPANY C.P. - CHEVRON, BELGIUM

Major Shields Warren, Jr.
Executive Officer, 1st battalion, strides toward his Jeep with a cigarette dangling from his lips

Capt. Woodrow W. Millsaps
was the C.O., B Co.  He
may have just left a briefing as he holds what may be a sheaf of maps in his right-hand.

Capt. Millsaps and 1st Sgt. Jim Smith
were the leading forces for Company B

1st Sgt. Jim Smith
was a well respected NCO.  He remained in the service and retired in 1965 as a Chief Warrant Officer.

Jim Smith
shows the effect of being on the line before the 508th was pulled to have some much deserved R&R in Chevron.
