82nd Airborne Insignia sits proudly on the sleeve of this Tec/5 as the loading procession gets underway.	Beached LST sits with its mouth agape, perhaps in awe of the men it would transport, while awaiting its load of men and equipment.	Drive-In Service permits Jeeps trucks and even tanks to drive straight from the beach sands into the belly of an LST. Once loaded, the ships made the trek across the channel to Portsmouth, England to be unloaded. Troops then were transported by truck or train to Wollaton Park, Nottingham.
