Theatre opposite the train station in Frankfurt am Main as it was
known to the G.I.'s is actually the "Albert Schumann Theatre".
Built in art nouveau style, it has a monumental front built from white
sandstone decorated by two towers flanked with numerous statues

Club Renamed as Brogan Hall
Lt. Col. Shields Warren, C.O. Hq 1st watches Lt. Col. Louis Mendez,
C.O. Hq 3rd, present a plaque to MSgt Bill Mann commemorating SSgt Harold
J. Brogan. Brogan, a member of B Company, was KIA on 4 Jul 1944
in Normandy. The ceremony is believed to have taken place in Heddernheim
during the observance of the Regiment's Third Anniversary. Identity
of the other men in this photo is unknown.

This one was in the collection of John Gieb, whose name was misspelled s
"Geib" on his photo. |
