OPERATION RED DEVIL (5)
IN SERVICE IN CANAL Z0NE
   Pvt. Harry M. Boyd
, son of ilr. and Mrs. James L, Boyd, 2616 E. 10th St., participated in "Operation Red Devil" in December, one of the largest parachute assault exercises ever held in the Canal Zone. Pvt. Boyd is a grenadier in Company A, 3rd Battalion at the 508th Infantry stationed at Fort Kobbe, Canal Zone. His unit went through six weeks training to become familiar with Vietnam-style jungle fighting. The exercise ended Dec. 23.

JOHN J. GREER III, 19, whose wife Vivian lives at Cleveland, Fla., near Punta Gorda, participated in Operation Operation Red Devil one of the biggest biggest parachute assault exercises ever held in the Panama Canal Zone.
   Greer is a private first class in the Army, a rifleman in Company C, 3rd Battalion of the 508th Infantry Regiment at Ft. Kobbe, C. Z.

FT. KOBBE, C. Z.—   Army Specialist Fourth Class Michael! E. Fullen, 21, son of Mr. and; Mrs. Howard I. Fullen, 119 Hollywood Drive, Coleman, participated in "Operation Red Devil" in December, one of the) biggest parachute assault exercises ever held in the Canal Zone.
   Spec. Fullen, a machine gunner in Company B, 3rd Battalion of the 508th Infantry stationed at Ft. Kobbe, and his unit went through six weeks of; training to become familiar with Vietnam-style jungle fighting.
   The exercise, which ended Dec. 23, consisted of live-fire squad tactics, platoon jungle operations and maneuvers through a jungle reaction course.
